Ace Shiseido makeup artist Rosalia at the Macy’s Walnut Creek counter walked me through one easy tip for scoring a believably golden look that wards off winter gloom: Choose a bronzer that’s one or two shades deeper than your complexion and, using a contouring brush with a flat head, dust only your hairline and underneath the cheekbones. Blend out the color with a big fluffy brush.
The look is less “George Hamilton’s love child” and more “I just spent resort season on the islands.”
